Quite a daunting task, I'm going to try and divide it down into sub sections and put a plan in motion for each.

First is fitness,

My commitment is going to be hitting the Gym 3 times a week and watching what i eat. I signed up for my fitness pal (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/2012Adam) so i can track my eating habits and Jefit (http://www.jefit.com/) to track my workout progress.

The only way this will work if i set up a schedule for myself and commit to my plan. I'm going to utilize Google calender to ensure I'm committed to making 2012 my year.

I'm going to take 20 min every Thursday to update this blog and ensure that i'm on track.

2011 was the best and worst year of my life. Dizzying highs and brutal lows set the tone for a year that took me from being paid to live in Costa Rica to being homeless in Canada. (that might be a little dramatic but its true none the less.)

With 2011 behind us in 2 days i really want to buckle down and make 2012 my bitch. I have a new job starting in Jan, I have a beautiful family and friends that love me very much and i really think that this will be my defining year. That being said i'm not going to sit back and wait for it to happen, I really need to put some focus on what i think is important and work really hard to get it.

I haven't set up my complete list yet but things like being the best parent i can be, being a better more supportive husband, starting my new carrier, getting back into shape, learning to play guitar, writing a children's book, to name a few.

Setting up this blog is my first step towards organizing my life in such a way that I can achieve all my goals.
